A brand identity developed for Cignium, a software development company who chose to make the complex more simple. Cignium offered Product Lifecycle Management software along with consultancy services.
Cignium had the problem where they were communicating an ordinary offer in a market which had little differentiation between competitors. Dense, technological jargon aimed for I.T. managers was typical among the field.
By employing a brand strategy with simplicity at its core, Cignium were able to talk and act differently versus their competition, and communicate simplicity as a unique selling point. This approach would be relevant to both I.T. and sales managers alike. Streamlining I.T. to increase sales.
The visual identity came to life with key strategic brand messaging supported by an illustration language of simple geometric shapes conveying the message. The design language was carried through with bold colours and typography. This illustrative approach was scalable from high concept illustration for advertising through to more information dense infographics for presentations.
