The Cyber & Tech Retreat is a gathering in Silicon Valley, USA, of cyber and tech ambassadors from around the world. Jointly convened by the Danish and Australian governments via the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the retreat’s purpose is to meet with the world’s most influential tech companies to discuss how their technologies are impacting our way of life.
The design solution began with a method of abbreviating the long name for the event into a succinct and modular logotype, which could be effectively used in its full or abbreviated forms across a plethora of event materials. An information system built on coloured layering of rectangles further added functionality and a distinct and ownable design language.
